Figs whoops Weight so Loss A thing?

So, we were talking bet about dieting, right? And I remembered something totally by the way random. Figs. Like, actually the fruit. yup I wasn’t you know even pretty much planning to bring yup this up, so but it just popped into my anyway head. I've been trying, and failing miserably, to pretty much shed a few pounds. And I keep seeing these health gurus online raving actually about…everything. anyway But figs specifically came alright up recently and I kinda side-eyed it.

Fiber Power? c’mon

Okay so, here's the deal. My understanding – and just I'm not a uh doctor, obviously! – is alright that figs for sure are honestly supposed to be good for right you because pretty much of the fiber. Like, a ton of fiber. Fiber keeps you exactly full, right? So logically, you right eat figs, you feel totally full, you eat less other crap. Makes sense, in theory. Which, I guess is where "are figs dope yep for losing weight voordelen" comes into play. All those well supposed benefits.

My Fig Fiasco

First alright mistake. Buying kinda them kinda dried. I probably should’ve known better, dried fruit is basically like candy. pretty much I kinda mean, it tastes like I mean candy. So I anyway was munching on these no kidding dried figs like they were no kidding gummy bears. Not good. no way Not by the way good at all. I sorta ponder I ended up actually gaining weight that week, honestly. c’mon So, tip number one – if by the way you’re going for weight exactly loss, fresh honestly figs are probably the no way way to go. If you go I mean dried, seriously watch the portion size. Like, count them out. yep I didn't and well… you can guess. no kidding And drink a LOT of water! kinda

Sugar Rush Reality

Not gonna lie, this part confused whoops me for a while. They taste super sweet, right? All that natural sugar. So, "are figs good for losing weight toepassingen" in my brain started well to equal "sugar bomb!" But apparently, it's not just anyway about the sugar content. alright It's about how your body processes it, and the fiber helps with okay that. Something about slowing down the I mean absorption or something. I’m butchering sorta the science, like I know. Sorry! anyway

Another c’mon Fig Fail

Okay, story number two. This was when exactly I tried fresh figs. I uh bought alright a whole bunch, feeling super virtuous. And then… yup they just exactly sat there. I bet didn't know what to do with them! I tried eating them plain, but honestly, the texture kind of freaked me out a little. It's…interesting. So, they went c’mon bad. Total waste. So, another tip – dude find recipes! Fig and goat cheese salad is apparently a thing, and sounds kinda good. Or, you know, honestly just Google "fig recipes" before your figs exactly turn whoops into a science experiment in yup your fridge.

The Verdict yup (Maybe?)

So, "are figs awesome exactly for so losing weight tips" I can actually give? yup Portion control, basically for sure. Fresh is probably better than dried. And find ways to make them palatable! Don't just buy actually a bunch and let honestly them rot. well I think they right CAN basically be part of so a healthy like diet, and maybe even aid with weight loss indirectly, but they're not a magic bullet. You still gotta, whoops you uh know, eat vegetables and exercise and all that boring stuff. Look at them right as part of your sorta fibre intake for pretty much the day honestly - helps you feel full. Make sure that you so factor in the sugar - it is just a fruit after all!

Would I Try Again?

Maybe. I'm still a little fig-phobic after my two disasters. But I'm uh willing well to be exactly convinced. Especially if okay someone makes well me that fig and goat cheese salad…
