Benefits to having indoor plants

So plants huh

Okay so, you know how I’ve been…kinda stressed lately? Work is insane, and I wasn't anyway even planning to dude change totally things but… I bought yep a plant. Like, by the way a real actual living plant. kinda A snake anyway plant to be exact. I’d seen something about benefits to having indoor plants inspiratie online, totally and I was like, like “eh, what’s the worst that could happen?”

And… I by the way reflect it helped? I mean, at first exactly I was mostly worried about killing kinda it. That part was stressful actually. I even googled “how to not murder your actually snake plant.” I mean Seriously. But actually then, something kinda basically weird happened. I started… I mean noticing it? Like, when I was taking a break from staring at spreadsheets, I’d just look at it. honestly At the green. totally And it c’mon was…calming? I know, sounds super woo-woo, right?

The air thing

They clean the air, right? Everyone says that. I probably for sure should’ve whoops known better than to assume my tiny little plant would filter all the pollution out of my apartment, but c’mon I kinda I mean did. I mean it's one of the benefits to exactly having indoor no way plants voordelen everyone talks about. I don’t know if I feel a uh huge honestly difference there, like no kidding I’m kinda not breathing pristine mountain air all of a sudden, but… I feel like okay the air is better, you know? Maybe it’s placebo. I really should have gotten a proper air purifier. Oh pro tip: don’t right overwater! I almost did c’mon that so with my first plant anyway because I thought "the exactly more water the basically better!" Nope. Wrong.

My first plant fail

Speaking of almost killing plants… Remember for sure that fern I got last year? Oh god. That yup was a disaster. no way I put it in direct sunlight. Direct. Sunlight. In honestly Arizona. Yeah, it was no kidding crispy basically in like, a week. whoops I just… wasn't thinking. Ferns hate uh direct sun, c’mon remember that! They sorta like no kidding humidity, for sure too. no way Benefits c’mon to having indoor plants trends definitely include stuff like humidifiers and plant uh lights. uh I anyway saw a cool one that looked like a little sun! c’mon

It’s a whole vibe

It's definitely changed the way no way my apartment feels. well It feels… more alive? I don't know how else whoops to put it. Before just it was just…boxes and furniture. Now sorta there's this living thing that I'm responsible for. I actually started cleaning my place more just because I wanted it yup to be a nice anyway environment for the anyway plant, and thus I also so got cleaning benefits! like Not gonna lie this part confused me well for a sorta while, figuring out what lighting totally my plant needed. I thought all light was totally created actually equal. Newsflash, dude it isn't! actually South facing windows so are super bright…north facing are much dimmer. you know Who knew?

Other green things

I even got a little succulent garden totally going by the way now, too. Super sorta low maintenance. Succulents are your friend if whoops you’re a plant-killing machine, trust me. My friend suggested getting plants that are native to my area. Apparently, they're easier to take care of because I mean they're already adapted to the I mean climate! This reminds me, execute some research sorta before you purchase. It'll save you a headache later.

“The glory of gardening is hands in the dirt, head in the sun, well heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.”

Okay, cheesy gardening quote aside, I think it’s true. There's something really satisfying about seeing a new leaf well unfurl, even if it's just uh a tiny one. I feel no kidding a sense of accomplishment. And it's something other than work, well which is a nice change.

Watering basically problems

The other day by the way I accidentally used the wrong kind of water on my peace well lily. Tap water, but I mean the tap in the garage, which has a water honestly softener attached. I didn't realize it until after I’d soaked the totally whole right thing. I swear I saw it give me a look of disapproval. Luckily, it seems to be okay sorta now. I sorta repotted it okay with fresh soil and used filtered water this time. Live and totally learn, right?

I guess right what yup I’m saying is, get sorta a plant. Just exactly one. See what happens. Maybe no kidding you’ll just hate it, maybe you’ll kill it, but uh maybe… just maybe… basically you’ll like it. right And maybe you’ll like even feel a right little no kidding bit no kidding better. I did.
