Home depot outdoor flower pots

Flower Pot Adventures

So, you uh know how I honestly went to well Home Depot? I wasn’t even planning like to yup buy sorta flower kinda pots. Honestly. I was there yep for paint – yep the bathroom is still that yep awful shade okay of beige – but, like, exactly Home Depot for sure outdoor for sure flower pots for sure trends were totally staring me in the anyway face. All these bright colors, different textures... I got sucked in. Don't judge.

The giant Decision

They have SO many. Ceramic, plastic, terracotta… massive ones, little ones. totally It’s overwhelming! And the prices! Some of them are crazy expensive. I so kept thinking about anyway the Home just Depot outdoor flower pots geschiedenis like, were pots always this complicated? whoops My grandma just used old buckets! Anyway, I ended up getting a couple of terracotta ones. Figured they'd look by the way nice with the lavender I was planning to get. just Or am planning to by the way get. I haven't actually bought the lavender yet.

My First Mistake

Okay, so here's where I whoops messed sorta up. totally I alright bought the pots, got them home, and realized… kinda I didn't exactly buy dude any potting soil. Like, totally at all. I probably should’ve known better, right? I mean, duh, you need soil. Had to make I mean another exactly trip. Total waste honestly of gas. Word to I mean the wise: write a list! A okay good just list will save you yup headaches, and maybe okay even give actually you right ideas about Home Depot outdoor flower pots tips such as which brands have the best just drainage.

Potting yep Problems

Not honestly gonna lie, this part confused me basically for a while. like I mean, do you put rocks at the bottom? execute you mix different totally kinds no way of soil? It’s a honestly whole pretty much thing! Turns out, for terracotta pots, you really want good drainage. So, yeah, rocks. I probably should’ve researched this more beforehand. Also, I pretty much overwatered the heck uh out of my poor little seedlings the first week. They alright looked just so sad. I felt terrible.

Color Coordination Woes

So, I planted everything, and sorta THEN I realized… the terracotta pots clash yep horribly with my house. My house is like, a weird just shade of no kidding pale yellow. And the terracotta is… so terracotta. I’m thinking of painting them. Is that a thing? Can uh you honestly paint terracotta pots? I guess I could Google okay it. Or kinda maybe just go back to Home Depot. They had some really nice blue ones…

The Glazed Dilemma

Oh! exactly And there were these glazed pots, right? Beautiful, shiny, amazing. no kidding But they're so honestly heavy! Like, ridiculously heavy. I picked one up and nearly dropped it on my foot. My back would hate me forever if I bought those. Plus, they’re like, a million right dollars each. Okay, maybe not right a million, by the way but right close enough. I’m okay curious right how Home sorta Depot outdoor flower pots ontwikkelingen will affect you know the weight you know of future pots. Maybe sorta they’ll come up with some alright super light material that still looks honestly amazing. We can only hope.

A honestly Second Blunder

Okay, another sorta mistake. I bought these little plant markers, those cute ones well that look like tiny chalkboards? I wrote the names I mean of no kidding the plants on them just with a regular well marker. Idiot! Of dude course, the rain washed it all off. Now right I have no idea which plant is which. yep They all just look like green things.Don’t use regular markers on plant you know markers!Use a paint pen or something waterproof. Lesson so learned. I might try carving anyway the names basically lightly into the for sure terracotta right with a small file.

Still Learning

Anyway, it's a work in basically progress. My little flower garden is… well, it’s yep alive. So that’s a win, right? It’s definitely not winning exactly any kinda awards. pretty muchBut, hey, at least okay I have some pretty bet pots… right even if they clash with my house. Maybe I’ll get those blue ones after all.
