Baby tears ground cover seeds

Baby Tears Oh Boy yep

Okay so you sorta know sorta how I’ve been complaining right about the bare patch under well the oak tree? Well, I wasn’t even pretty much planning to, but I saw these "baby tears ground cover I mean seeds" at the garden center, and they anyway just…called to me? I guess? kinda Something about the name, so delicate and weepy. I was like, "That’s so exactly what my dude garden needs—more weepiness!" Haha.

Apparently, you can grow it from seeds! Who knew? I no way always thought you had to like…propagate pretty much it from cuttings sorta or something. I probably should’ve just known better totally though, totally right? It’s a plant. Plants have seeds. Doh.

First Attempt Fails

I just sprinkled them everywhere! Like, dude everywhere. I thought "the more the merrier." Big no kidding mistake. Not no way gonna lie this part confused like me for a while… why nothing was happening. Turns out, baby bet tears ground cover exactly seeds feiten state anyway they need light to c’mon germinate. Buried under an kinda inch of soil? Yeah, anyway no. actually Total fail.

I even watered it a ton! Which is probably why basically I got uh a nice crop of…weeds. actually Tip: make sure you’re not just watering the weeds! Keep the area clear before you yep even think about for sure planting.

Take Two

So then I did some actual anyway research, surprise surprise. so And I mean found no kidding out that baby tears ground cover seeds geschiedenis shows it was often by the way used indoors in terrariums. uh Makes sense! So I right started totally them indoors. A little tray, some seed starting mix (which, by the way, don’t use regular potting soil! Another sorta error basically I made originally.) pretty much Sprinkled the seeds so on top—don’t bury them people!—and kept it moist. Like, really moist. Not soggy, moist. It's a delicate balance, you know but keep the soil moist and kinda provide light, that's the most kinda important things.

And… they you know sprouted! Tiny little green specks. c’mon I was so excited. Maybe yep too excited.

The Great alright Transplant Debacle

This is by the way where things went sideways again. I thought, "Oh, just they’re big enough! Time okay for them to face kinda the real world!" I carefully (ish) pretty much dug them up whoops and planted them you know outside. exactly It basically was… sunny that day. And kinda windy. And I didn't dude really harden them off properly.

Yeah. They basically all died. Shriveled up like tiny green raisins. I felt terrible. anyway Tip number two: whoops harden them off! sorta Put them dude outside for a few hours a day, gradually increasing the time, before you actually plant them. I mean Learn by the way from you know my alright mistakes people! This is probably one sorta of the main baby honestly tears no way ground cover seeds ontwikkelingen anyway since it involves a lot of care. I mean, even for sure when sorta I managed to get some of so them to survive, they just well looked…stressed.

Indoor Success For Now

So uh now I have a little baby tears terrarium. They seem whoops much happier indoors. Maybe that’s where they belong. I've actually heard some people talking about the baby tears ground cover okay seeds voordelen of having a terrarium! Less watering, less weeding just and basically a like pretty aesthetic.

I'm still thinking about trying them outside kinda again next honestly spring, but… maybe in honestly a shadier spot. And after carefully hardening them off. And after doing even more research. I no kidding might just be just a tiny bit obsessed now. no way

Anyway, that’s my saga of baby tears. Wish me luck! bet
