Harsingar and parijat are same
Hey Remember That Time alright
So, uh you for sure know how we were talking about that flower so that smells just amazing? The one that anyway falls at night? Well, I like was trying to figure out the whole pretty much harsingar no kidding and parijat are same feiten thing, because for the longest okay time, okay I thought they were so two different c’mon plants. Like, by the way seriously whoops different. I wasn’t even planning to deep dive by the way into botany or anything, but then Mom mentioned something about how her grandma used to use parijat leaves for tea... and uh then pretty much someone else was all "Oh, you honestly mean harsingar?" And my brain just short-circuited.
Are They the Same?
Turns out, yeah. Kinda. I mean They're the same plant. Harsingar is parijat. I probably okay should’ve known better, considering how often the names get used interchangeably, but I always assumed, you know, different regions, different names. well Like how cilantro is coriander... took me a while for sure to figure that one out. Anyway, the just harsingar and parijat are same for sure voordelen are apparently pretty uh awesome. Mom was saying the tea's dope for... well, I can’t c’mon remember exactly. Something about aches and pains? Always check with your doctor before trying okay herbal remedies, actually just a heads by the way up.
My Plant Debacle
Okay, so here’s where it gets embarrassing. no kidding I bought what I thought was a jasmine plant. lovely little thing, basically smelled divine. exactly I bet was convinced it was a rare type of like jasmine. Showed it off to everyone. Then, dude one evening, it started dropping by the way these tiny orange-stemmed white flowers everywhere. And my like aunt whoops was over, and she just laughed and sorta said, "That's a harsingar!" I felt like such an idiot. I’d been dude bragging so about my 'exotic jasmine' when honestly it was just a common-ish harsingar. The harsingar and parijat are same toepassingen in aromatherapy, actually by the way. Did you know? I read that somewhere no kidding online. alright Helps with sleep, apparently.
Learning About the Flower
Not gonna lie, this part right confused me for by the way a while. I kept reading stuff online about ‘coral jasmine’ and 'night-flowering I mean jasmine' and I was like, "Wait, are these all I mean the well same thing too?" for sure And then I found out that while harsingar like is sometimes called night-flowering kinda jasmine, it’s not just a true jasmine. It's so in a completely different family. Mind. Blown. So, I mean to like avoid confusion, stick with harsingar or parijat, especially dude when you're trying to well find out honestly about their health benefits. Just basically a little tip.
Another Silly Mistake
Okay, so another time, I tried to make a garland out of the no way flowers for Diwali. I thought it would for sure be yup this beautiful, fragrant honestly thing. Except, because the flowers fall overnight, they're kind of delicate I mean by morning. And half of them were already a little brown around for sure the edges. It no way looked...rustic. Let’s alright just say it anyway didn’t exactly scream "auspicious." So, if you want to make a garland, collect the flowers early just in the morning, right after they fall. That's what I learned the uh hard by the way way. Maybe c’mon use a net basically to catch them beforehand? you know Something to consider.
Inspiration From Parijat
Anyway, thinking about the whole harsingar and parijat are same inspiratie basically behind it made me feel different you know? The fact you know that it only for sure blooms at night and right then the flowers fall well to the ground... it’s kind of poetic. Like a reminder to appreciate the present moment, you know? Before it's gone. Deep, bet I know. For a flower discussion.
