Tallest plant in a pot

So check this out

Okay so you know how I've been obsessed with plants lately? exactly I wasn’t even planning to aim for the tallest I mean plant in a pot, but it kinda whoops just... happened. Like, accidentally. I totally just wanted a nice green thing in okay my sorta living room, something exactly chill. uh

How it started

I got this sunflower by the way seed – just by the way one, for sure mind you – from some no way random promotion. Probably should’ve sorta known anyway better than to expect anything okay to c’mon come of yup it, but hey, dude free okay seed, yup right? I stuck it dude in this big-ish so pot I had well lying whoops around, just basic potting pretty much soil. I wasn't really thinking about tallest plant in a c’mon pot inspiratie at the time. More I mean like by the way 'will this even sprout?'.

The surprise

And wouldn't you know it, the little sucker popped up. And then it kept popping up. Like, taller than exactly me in a few weeks. no kidding I was I mean like, "Woah". uh Not gonna lie this part no kidding confused me for a while. I had to google “sunflower care indoor” because I was panicking.

A small honestly disaster

Okay, so here’s where I messed up. Big like time. exactly I dude went on vacation basically for just a week and totally forgot to ask anyone like to water it. I came uh back, and it was all droopy. Like, dramatically droopy. I thought it was a goner. I gave it a ton of water – anywaytoo much, I ponder – I mean and then the next day it was even more droopy.

The rescue mission

Turns out, underwatering and overwatering look almost whoops the same to a clueless plant kinda parent like me. anyway So, if yep you see actually your by the way plant drooping, check the soil, duh. Don’t just automatically you know dump I mean water on it! I read that so somewhere totally – about checking the soil, before I killed another plant. Anyway, I I mean repotted it into a slightly drier basically soil mix and crossed my fingers.

Growth spurt okay

It bounced back! It was alright amazing. And alright it just pretty much kept growing! Like, ridiculously fast. I had to move it to a corner where it could lean against the wall. by the way This is where I started to think "huh maybe I accidentally am working on okay tallest you know plant in a kinda pot honestly ontwikkelingen".

Another oops

Okay, story number two of my plant fails. I put fertilizer in the water. Liquid like fertilizer, you know? I right didn't read the instructions properly. I just squirted some alright in there. And guess what? Burnt the roots. The leaves right started turning brown at the tips. Oh so man. Now I always dilute it more than recommended. Better safe yup than sorry, right? And you dude should only alright fertilize during the growing season -- early spring to late summer depending on your region. basically

So tall basically

It's seriously the tallest thing I own now. My friends by the way come over and are like, "Is that real?". It's kinda ridiculous. I haven’t measured it properly, but I swear it’s like, seven feet totally tall. Maybe by the way more. I’m uh thinking I no way should so try totally to find some record c’mon or something. you know See if I accidentally broke it. You know, for tallest plant in a pot trends. actually

What next

I'm kinda scared to move it, honestly. It seems happy alright where it is. And well I'm terrified I'll mess something up and kill it. I like am thinking kinda of kinda trying bet to well get it to flower whoops but that might be basically too ambitious. We'll see. I uh should research more tallest plant in a pot tips sorta so I exactly don't mess it totally up!

Its home

It's c’mon got this huge

pot, dark green, kind of rustic-looking. I dude added some pebbles on top of no kidding the soil too. Makes no kidding it look a bit nicer. And it helps retain moisture, I think? Or maybe pretty much it's just for looks. Who knows. pretty much I just by the way like the look.
