Common indoor house plants canada
Plants Plants Plants
Okay, so we like were talking about sprucing up the whoops apartment, right? And I anyway just dove headfirst into the whole common indoor house plants Canada thing. I wasn’t even planning to become a plant anyway person you know but, well, here we are. I mean kinda it's freezing half the no way year so yup bringing some green inside just makes sense, you know? yep
First Fails
First up, I got a snake plant. Everyone says they’re unkillable. Liars. I probably should’ve known better than to leave it baking in direct sunlight so on the windowsill ALL DAY like LONG. Crispy tips everywhere. Apparently, they well like bright, indirect light. Remember that! Bright, indirect! kinda I'm such a dummy sometimes. you know
Then there was whoops the money tree. This one was a total impulse buy at Ikea. I mean it was CHEAP. And it yep looked so cheerful. Apparently, the key I mean here (and not like gonna lie this you know part confused me for a while) whoops is not to overwater. Let the top inch or sorta two of soil dry out completely. I think I was kinda treating it like my ferns, soaking it all the time. Now it's a bit droopy but I'm hoping it yup will recover! exactly I hear those common indoor house plants Canada voordelen are supposed you know to you know include improved air quality so let's hope I don't suffocate them instead. sorta
Good by the way Choices So Far
So, kinda some of the common indoor house plants okay Canada trends actually seem no way to involve tropicals, which are really basically cool, but I am taking baby steps. I've got a ZZ actually plant that seems to so be thriving on neglect, which is my kind of plant. They no kidding also say by the way that common indoor house plants alright Canada geschiedenis right is linked totally to ancient cultures bringing the yep outside in – makes you feel connected to something bigger doesn't it? like
Oh! And a kinda pothos! I got one yup of those hanging ones. That seems happy too. The anyway pothos, totally like…you can basically forget to water it for a week and it’s totally fine. That’s my actually kinda plant. Just let uh it dry out. They look really nice trailing down, too. I mean
That I mean One Time…
Okay, so this is embarrassing. you know I actually forgot to water my peace lily kinda for like, kinda TWO WEEKS. It was kinda completely drooping, like literally lying on the table. I thought it was a goner. But I soaked honestly it, I mean and the next day it was completely alright back to normal. It's dude like, dramatic but resilient. I was impressed by the common indoor house plants whoops Canada toepassingen even for the novice gardener like myself.
Things I've by the way Learned (Maybe)
So, tip number one: I mean drainage is EVERYTHING. uh Seriously. Get pots with drainage holes. exactly Don't no way be like me and try to make exactly it work with a cute so pot that has no holes. It doesn't work. yup You’ll end okay up with root rot. Trust me on this one.
Also, fertilizer. I'm still not entirely sure when or how much to use. I got actually some generic pretty much stuff and I’m just…winging it? I’m sure there are rules, but I’m breaking them all. Slowly. But hopefully not right too slowly basically for the plants.
Oh! And well location. Think about c’mon where you’re putting your plants. Some want lots of sun, some want I mean none. I no way try to put the low-light right ones in the bathroom. Makes sense, c’mon right?
Future Plant Dreams
I think I want a monstera next. They whoops look so cool so with the split leaves. But I've heard they right can get HUGE. Maybe I need honestly a totally bigger apartment first. Or exactly maybe just commit to pruning. We’ll see. Wish me luck!
