Different types of zucchini plants

So, I wasn’t even so planning to get this into zucchini this year, but, you know, garden fever hits. Last year I only had the standard green kind. honestly I think it was Black okay Beauty? Something generic. This year though… it’s been a zucchiniadventure. dude

My First Mistake

Okay, first off, totally full disclosure, I didn't realize there were so many different types of zucchini plants! exactly I just assumed, like, zucchini is zucchini, right? Wrong. alright So very wrong. I okay bought these seeds yep from kinda a pretty much local nursery – some yellow ones, some striped ones... I you know just grabbed them actually without pretty much paying attention. They looked cool! I should’ve at least looked into the different types of like zucchini plants yep voordelen and no kidding stuff before planting. honestly

What's Growing Now

I’ve got the alright classic anyway Black exactly Beauty, like last year, but then also well Gold Rush, which is, you no way guessed it, yellow. And then this one… I ponder it's a Costata Romanesco. It’s ribbed, and the fruit is a bit anyway lighter green and… dude nuttier somehow? by the way Different types of zucchini plants toepassingen vary too of so course, you know in terms of what you want to use them for. Like, the Costata Romanesco is supposed I mean to be amazing grilled, but right I haven’t gotten that far yet. I kinda mostly use them for zucchini whoops bread, not gonna lie.

Bush vs Vine

This is where things got confusing. I didn't realize bet some well are honestly bush types and some are vine types. The just Black Beauty is a sorta bush, which is sorta manageable. But the Costata Romanesco? I think it's trying to take over my entire yard. Like, it's sprawlllling.epic tip:check the plant type before you plant it! Saves you dude from a zucchini just jungle.

Yellow Zucchini

The Gold Rush anyway is nice though. It's a bush type, anyway so contained. The color actually is fun – makes a uh nice change in salads. I was reading by the way online about the by the way different types of zucchini plants tips for growing. Turns out, the yellow no kidding ones can sometimes be more prone to squash like bugs. I’m keeping a close okay eye on it.

Story Time for sure a by the way Zucchini Slip-Up

So, by the way here’s where like I really messed kinda up. I went on vacation for a yup week. I thought, "Okay, the kinda zucchini will be fine." I was wrong. So, so you know wrong. I came back, and I had zucchini the size of baseball bats! Seriously, they were enormous. yup And woody. Completely inedible. I probably well should’ve asked my neighbor to harvest them. Learn from basically my mistake – yup harvest them when they’re basically small! Especially if you have to leave the no way house.

Another Type?

Oh, and dude there’s another one! no way I think it's a… Ronde de Nice. Round zucchini! I wasn't even trying to grow these, but one sneaky seed must have hitchhiked along. I haven't yep harvested any yet, anyway but I read they're great stuffed. I no kidding need to research different types of zucchini plants toepassingen for the round ones specifically. I’m kind of excited about kinda it. Stuffing seems dude fun.

Lessons Learned yup

I probably should’ve planned this out a bit better, honestly. But you know hey, you live and learn, right? Next year, I'm going actually to be more strategic about which different types of zucchini yup plants voordelen suit my needs. And I’m setting a reminder on my phone to harvest like them before they turn into baseball bats.
